62nd JOINT TECHNOLOGICAL CONFERENCE
The 62nd Joint Technological Conference (JTC), organized by the four premier Textile Research Associations (ATIRA, BTRA, SITRA, and NITRA), will take place on the 24th and 25th of October 2024 at NITRA campus. This two-day event will showcase groundbreaking research and development in spinning, weaving, chemical processing, apparel manufacturing, home textiles, and technical textiles.

NITRA Technical Campus
NITRA Technical Campus (NTC) is the academic arm of NITRA set up exclusively to offer AICTE approved B. Tech programs in Engineering. The institute spreads over a huge area of 1,68,000 sq ft having buildings with latest infrastructural facilities and hostel blocks.

Director
Dr. M.S.Parmar, Director, working at NITRA for the last 28 years in various capacities. He is heading Chemical Quality Evaluation Division and coordinating COE-PROTECH activities. His main areas of expertise are Textile Chemistry, Protective Textiles, unconventional fibres and Quality Control of Textiles. Besides this, he is also looking after Heat & Fire Laboratory and Chemical Laboratory.
