Integrated SkiIl Development Scheme (ISDS) |
| Ministry of Textiles, Govt. of India, in July 2010 launched “Integrated SkiIl Development Scheme (ISDS)” for textile and apparel sector including Jute & Handicrafts with the financial outlay of Rs. 229 cr to train 26.75 lac people over a period of 5 years. |

| NITRA has been chosen as one of the implementing agencies and has set a target to train 16,600 personnel over the next 5 years in the complete textile supply chain. |

| Ministry of Textiles, Govt. of India has sanctioned Rs. 12.57 cr to NITRA to add state of the art infrastructure to its existing facilities so that trainees undergoing various training programs get exposed to latest technologies of textile and garment manufacturing. |
